NovoClear
Ammonia and odour control for livestock housing
The setting
A broiler facility housing 45,000 birds per cycle.
The problem
Ammonia from accumulated litter was driving high mortality, heavy culling and poor feed conversion. Ventilation and bedding management weren't enough to control it.
How NovoClear helped
NovoClear was applied to the litter surface on a three-treatment schedule: Day 7 at 1%, Days 14 and 21 at 3%.
Result
Ammonia reduced by 40-57% across three treatments over a 21-day cycle. Mortality fell by 58.4%, culls by 72.5%, and final bird weight rose by 15.9% compared to the untreated cycle.
